Six goals from set pieces in LaLiga this season

Valencia CF enjoyed set piece success this past weekend, with Gabriel Paulista nodding in a corner from a Carlos Soler corner for the equaliser in a 1-1 draw. It was another case of training ground work paying off, as the team have now scored 6 times from dead ball situations in LaLiga this term.
The set piece goals in 2020/21 began on the opening matchday, again through Paulista. That time around, he turned a corner by Kang In into the net against Levante UD.
Other scorers from similar situations have been Hugo Guillamón against Deportivo Alavés, from a free kick close to the box, and Mouctar Diakhaby against FC Barcelona resulting from a corner. Daniel Wass found the net directly from a free kick against SD Huesca, whilst Manu Vallejo struck off a corner in the first meeting against Athletic Club at Mestalla.
